Levoca from the Basilica Hill
A picturesque, impressionist-like view looking down on the town of Levoca, Slovakia. The high steeple on the left is Sv. Jakub (St. James) which houses the famous wooden altar by Master Pavel. It was also my grandfather's church. The Basilica Hill from which the photo was taken houses a Marian shrine. A must-stop and see town when traveling cross country in Slovakia.
